Our Story
At Rathdrum Trading Post Hardware, we believe that a local hardware store should be much more than just four walls and a cash register. We believe that a local independent hardware should provide a level of service that the ‘big boxes’ can only talk about.
Your project is our project as we partner with you to get the materials and knowledge that you need to finish the job right. It is an honor to serve the community that has supports us. We have our roots in fasteners and that is a big reason why we have the best variety and pricing of any store around! Whether you are looking for nuts, bolts, screws, nails or a fastener that you have never heard of but need for your project, we have you covered. Need something in bulk or a special order? We can do that too and at prices that the big box stores cannot match.
Lawn & Garden
No matter the season, you will find an excellent selection of tools, fertilizers, materials, etc. to get your home looking its best. Have watering needs? We can tackle almost any in-ground or hose end sprinkler issue. Want to get your lawn looking its best?
We proudly feature Wilbur-Ellis professional grade products. Of course we also have a full selection of Scotts, Miracle-Gro, Ortho, Spectricide among the other top brands. Don’t forget the birds and bees! Between seed, suet and feeders we have some unique offerings to keep the birds singing all season long. Bee keeping supplies are also on hand to keep your hives humming! We also have local organic feed from Wood’s Hay & Grain.
Rental
From hand tools to lawn equipment and drain cleaners, we have the professional tools in stock to rent. We take pride in keeping our equipment clean, well maintained and at great rates. Don’t kill your back or waste your time doing things the hard way when you can rent the right tool for the job from us!
Plumbing
If often seems that plumbing can be more art than science. We have the parts, fittings, and selection to tackle almost any repair! Not sure exactly what parts you need or how many of them you have to use? Let us help find the right part for the job. And don’t worry if you need to get extra parts just in case. If wood working is in your blood, we have specialty hand tools and of course a complete selection of router bits and Dremel accessories. Welding supplies and abrasives are also stocked in store and ready to go when you need them.
Outdoor Power
Chainsaws, trimmers, mowers, blowers and supplies are all waiting for you in our outdoor power area where the grass is always green and the selection is always top notch. As an authorized dealer for Husqvarna and Echo, we always have the right tool for the job.
If you need a choker or other rigging supplies, we have those too. Looking for a lawn tractor? We have a custom order program to get the tractor you want with the accessories you need!
